Newest creations

I thought I would post some of my creations...even if the photos didn't come out. Sheldon doesn't have Photoshop on his computer...and well...we won't go there. LOL
I just made this card for SCS Limited Supplies Challenge. No white cardstock. That wasn't too hard for me today....I have no good white left.

Here are a couple of my latest cards that I have made for swaps.

As you can probably tell. This one is for a bug swap. The coloring isn't the best. I became carried away and decided to try and outline the images....just the flower stems...yuck. I might go over it with another coat of marker...or cut out some leaves and put them on top. This was using my Marvy markers and blender pens. Not too bad. The sentiment is with the stamp that stampcrazymom sent me as a pif.
And this one is for a shoe swap. My initial plan was to make paper shoes and make cards out of them. I found a template...and cut out all of them...then realized that they were way too big. So I decided to just do this image instead. It is cute. The paper I found at Big Lots 8 sheets for $1.00. It is flocked...so it has some nice texture. I used copics for the image and used some of the gel medium.

Sorry my posts are usually so short. I usually have a cat or 2 trying to sit on my lap.

Christmas is over...

Well Christmas is over....so now what do I make? :) No more Christmas cards for awhile. I still have my New Years cards to finish and mail. However, I joined a bunch of swaps. Just don't let Sheldon know. LOL It is keeping me busy and semi out of trouble.

These calendar chick cards I made using SCS limited supply challenge. I think they turned out cute. They were supposed to be for a swap...however, I didn't pay close attention and I didn't sign up for any regular VD swaps. I signed up for an ATC swap and a 3x3 card swap. So I guess I will have to find some people to send these to.

This House Mouse card I made for the birthday swap that I joined. I also used SCS challenge LC156. It was a fun card to make...a little frustrating because I wanted to add ribbon at the bottom but the scallop was too big. I made 6 of these.

This last one, is an ATC (Artist Trading Card) that I made for a swap. It was supposed to be a shabby/grungy Valentine ATC. I thought this was kind of a fun layout and design. Since I am sending it to fellow crafters I liked the idea of it being funny and tongue in check instead of super mushy.

SCS Saturday Night card Challenge

I forgot...I know how could I...about the challenges over at SCS....I had only done one before. So last night I took a peek and thought I would try it. Here is the original inspiration. It is a sticky note.

So I did my best and made a card using a new SU set I bought and turned it into a tent card. After making my first tent card the other day I decided I like them. I will giving it along with several other cards I have made to my aunt as part of her Christmas present.
I was amazed by all the different looks that came out of this. If you want to look at all the other ones it is IC107 at SCS.
