Another One Down!!!

Hi,

This is my last swap on my PC list. :) I told Jen I was going to mail it on Tuesday. But, I hated what turned out....so I came up with a new one this morning. I like it much better.

Here is my first try. Now here is the finished project. I have a few circle journals to do...I received them late because noone wanted to mail them to me...then everyone mailed them to me at the same time. LOL Plus, I joined one other circle journal where I get to make all the pages the same and can send them all in at the same time. They are due in May....so I better get started on them.

Other than finishing up my bookclub recipe cards....I am done!!! Plus, I am done with school as of Monday. So....I am hoping that I will be feeling better to sign up for some more. Or just do some PIF's because I am going to be bored!!! Well at least untill the baby comes.....but we still have awhile for that. I go for my yearly physical on Monday and I am hoping we can hear the heartbeat....I think my next ultrasound isn't untill the 16th week.

One Down!!!!

I won't even think of how many more to go. LOL A few! This was for a beaded ATC swap that I signed up for in February I think. I made one card then and just finished making earrings for it and doing the other 4 yesterday. It went into the mail this morning. Hopefully everyone likes them and they are worth being late.Thanks for looking!!!

I'm still behind....

Hi all!!!

I have been so far behind on everything.....I have one more week and then I am done with school.

I have a couple of things to post...however, I have been a bit slow in taking pictures of them. :)

Not much else going on.....just tired!!! Found out today that I am a wanna be vegeterian!!! I did some online recipe hunting....looking for away to add more veggies in my life. Ever recipe except for one...had no meat in it. I guess I will have to add some chicken or stuff to a couple of the recipes.

Tonight is going to be chili....most people don't like chili when it is hot. However, I can eat it all the time. Plus, Sheldon likes it too.

I'm ready to share......

Here is why I have been feeling tired all the time. :) I am PREGNANT!!! The baby's birthday is estimated to be November 17,2008.

We went to the doctor today and had our second ultrasound. Everything looks good so far. Originally my dates were off....so I was a bit nervous. My LMP was February 11th....however....we are going with February 21st.

The baby is 8w6d and is 2.11 cm's....which is about right especially since I am not quite 9 weeks. Plus the heart rate is 174....which is perfect. I guess around 12 weeks it should go back down.

I think this wil take a lot of my initial stress off and I will be able to concentrate on what I need to do. (Which is of course lots of homework!!!! YUCK.)

As you probably can see....I didn't spend too much time with my photos. I was rushing and trying to beat the batteries. I hadn't changed them since before going to New Orleans and they were about dead. I am hoping in a day or so to get those pictures up. It was a fantastic time.

What do you do?

When you sign up for a swap....where you have to be super CREATIVE????? I joined a swap where each week I received a new item in the mail----this goes with my balance beam pigs. I thought that card was really creative. Well since then I haven't felt very creative and put off the swap a bit. It was due to be mailed out on Thursday....I was in New Orleans so I let the hostess know it was going to be a little late. Luckily for me---we are both in the same state.

The other items I received were--toothpick, metal ring, coaster, piece of cardboard, piece of acetate, coffee warmer, and a circle made out of paper towels.

I might have to put all the pics into two seperate posts....but here is what I finally came up with. I hope she likes them. Thanks for looking.

New Signature

Card Candy

Don't ask me why.....LOL Why did I sign up for a card candy swap? :) I love looking at them...but they are so hard to make. My PCMB friend Wanda came up with a cool idea....a Golden Ticket Card Candy Swap. She did hers as a candy bar. I couldn't resist and I signed up. But then I blanked out. However, here is what I came up with for the swap. I ended up using my bookmark envelopes and didn't make it look like candy...but hopefully everyone will like them.

Shoe Toss

Hi, Sorry I have been such a slacker. :) I have been a bit under stress lately...not quite ready to admit why. But soon! I haven't made anything forever...and I have been feeling very uncreative. However, today in the mail I received a card kit from Anne (it is for a shoe toss we are doing on PCMB). So while waiting for a friend to come over for dinner...I decided to make a card. TFL Jennie

Spoiled Kitties

Well....Batman escaped again last night. Our little prison that we have designed didn't do to well in the windstorm that we had a few weeks ago. Unknownst to us he must have been getting in and out.....well Sheldon fixed it after he came back in last night around 3:00 AM. So needless to say....we were not happy campers today and kept Batman awake as much as possible. Though he is pretty funny when you try....just like a little baby...he loves his sleep.

So in honor of knowing that my cats are terribly spoiled....and nothing is going to change. I made a Bella card with an image Deb sent me. The b/w background paper and orange cardstock are all scraps.

My take on irony

I joined my friend Lori's Froggy ATC swap. We were supposed to take a frog and put him into a holiday. I decided to do Halloween...since that is her favorite holiday. Can you guess what the irony (or I guess...my joke)is???

Received Lady in Hat Swap

I have to admit...I am amazed at the cards that I received. WOW!! Mine is kind of boring...because I only seem to know how to make one. However,all of these cards are unique and different. I am going to figure out how to frame them. I love them all.

If you aren't a member of Papercrafts message board and swaps...then you are definitely missing out on a great group of women who are very caring and creative. I am very fortunate to be part of this group.
